ISRAELI MILITARY EXPERT: THE RECOGNITION OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE COULD SPOIL |
|
Several deputies in the parliament are in favor of the approval of
this bill. However, there are quite a few deputies who refuse to
discuss the bill. The issue has not been closed yet. It is hard to say
whether the bill shall be approved or not, said Israeli military
expert Andrey Kojinov, assessing the discussions on the bill regarding
the recognition of the so-called Armenian genocide by the Commission
of Education, Culture and Sports in the Israeli Parliament. Kojinov
underlined that if passed the bill would damage certain interests of
Israel in the field of foreign policy. He also stated that the Foreign
Ministry believed that the recognition or denial of the so-called
Armenian genocide would mean an intervention in the internal affairs
of Turkey, Armenia and even Azerbaijan. According to Kojinov, the
Foreign Ministry confirmed that Israel would interfere in the
negotiation process between Turkey and Armenia. However, the
recognition of the so-called Armenian genocide could spoil the good
relations with Baku and Israel does not want to see this for sure.
Kojinov underlined that in case relations with Turkey happen to
improve, the possibility of the passing of the bill shall disappear.
Mentioning the power and influence of the Armenian community in
Israel, Kojinov said that there were around 2 thousand Armenians in
Israel.

THE GENOCIDE LEANING NATIONALISTS OF ISRAEL |
|
Tension is on the rise while the arguments between Ultra Orthodox Jews
and the Israeli state are maintained on the Jewish identity and
extreme religious topics. While Ultra Orthodox Jewish protesters clash
with the officials of the Israeli government on sexism in open public
places, most of the protesters wear attires similar to the ones worn
in Nazi concentration camps, trying to associate Israel with Nazism

TIME FOR PEACE |

In a time when the Arab World is in mayhem and anti-Israeli Islamists
have gained strength, Israel has no choice but recognizing an
independent Palestinian State.

UNDERSTAND THE SYRIAN POLICY OF TURKEY |
|
Mustafa Tombuloğlu
Yorturk Culture and Art Magazine (January-February 2011)
The people of Syria hoped that everything would change with Bashar
al-Assad who became president upon the death of his father in 2000.
Both the people of Syria and the international community were in the
expectation of serious changes in the domestic and foreign politics of
Syria and beginning of the reform process. However eleven years have
passed
Bashar al-Assad just like his father and any other dictators
chose oppression and violence. Bashar al-Assad who pointed guns to his
own people since March 2011 was the cause of many peoples death, tens
of thousands of people being detained and tortured.

ISRAEL KEEPS TWO SAUDI ISLANDS UNDER OCCUPATION |
|
It was revealed that pirate Israel has been keeping the Saudi islands
of "Tiran and Senafir" under occupation for years now. According to
official records, both of the islands located at the Tiran Strait in
the Red Sea belong to Saudi Arabia. Another aspect that draws
attention is the fact that this issue has long been hidden from the
agenda of the world public opinion...

MR. TALABANI, WHAT MAKES YOU SO AUTHORIZED TO WASTE THE PROPERTY OF PEOPLE? |
|
Recently, there have been sensational reports suggesting that Iraqi
President Jalal Talabani "had spent two million dollars" in the US
where he had gone to attend the UN Plenary Meeting. When these reports
were published by the media such as the newspapers, magazines,
satellite channels, and web sites, many people claimed that the
figures in the reports were imaginary for a meeting and such rumors
were told on purpose against Talabani. However, the tension escalated
further when Talabani said "We returned 500 thousand dollars of this
amount to the Ministry of Finance, and every spending has its formal
invoice. In fact, one million dollar out of this amount was paid to
rent the plane".

THE CALL FROM THE WORLD TO BASHAR ASSAD: IT IS ENOUGH!.. |
|
Mustafa Tombuloğlu
Yorturk Culture and Art Magazine (September - October 2011)
The social events that have occurred since March 2911 in Syria have
reached very serious dimensions. Bashar Assad who took over as
President from his father Hafez Assad in 2000 is employing
disproportionate force against public movements and is resorting to
violence. As a result of the bloody operations of Syrian
Administration, tens of thousands of Syrians have lost their lives,
tens of thousands of people have been detained and many people have
been subject to torture under detention. Bashar Assads non abandoning
to resort to violence will drift the Middle East to more dangerous
junctions.
